From 1st April, 1st September or 1st January after your child's third birthday s/he is eligible for 190 'free sessions'. You will be given a certificate to complete, each term, in order for us to claim your Nursery Education Funding.

We give you up to four 'free sessions' a week from 1st Sept-31st March (66 sessions) and three each week from 1st April to 31st August (120 sessions). We spread them over the whole year instead of just school term times.

Because we sort it out this way we cannot share your entitlement with another provider. You must claim all or none of your free sessions with us.

You can claim 'free sessions' in September if your child's start date is after the term begins.

In our nursery the 'free sessions' are 9.15-11.45am and 1.30-4pm. Preference is given to children who wish to take complete mornings or afternoons. If you wish to simply have two 'free sessions' in one day and pay for the period from 11.45am-1.30pm, instead of taking your child home for lunch - this will cost £6.15.

If we have none of these free spaces available we recommend you contact the Childcare Information Service on 293545 to find your nearest provider. This will usually be a school or Children's Centre for term times only.

Currently you will see on your bill separate amounts as follows:

Afternoons (1.15-5.30pm) which have the 'free sessions' in them - £5.90.

Afternoons (1.15-5.30pm) which have no free component - £14.50.

Mornings (8.15am-12.15pm) which have the 'Free Sessions' in them - £5.15.

Mornings (8.15am-12.15pm) which have no free component - £13.80.

Full days which have 2 free components - £14.15.

Full days which have no free components - £31.40.
